1 One's capabilities are not an indicator for intelligence although the number of capabilities that they possess can be an indicator of intelligence as intelligence is the ability to acquire capabilities efficiently on one's own volition.
2 When scientists look for signs of intelligence amongst other species, they don't look at their capabilities to process information. They look at their ability to acquire new skills.
3 One must not conflate intelligence with one's ability to recite a vast repository of information as the latter is but only one of the many skills that can be acquired.
